7th Bioelectronic Medicine Summit: New Targets and Therapies Across Organs and Systems
We invite abstract submissions for the 7th Bioelectronic Medicine Summit, a premier event focusing on advancements that are expanding bioelectronic medicine treatments across all organs and physiological systems. This summit brings together leading researchers, clinicians, and innovators to explore the cutting edge of bioelectronic medicine.
Call for Abstracts
This conference welcomes abstract submissions that highlight new approaches, emerging trends, and significant discoveries across all aspects of nerve mapping and physiological, neuromodulation, neural engineering, brain-computer interfaces, and other non-neural areas of bioelectronic medicine. We are particularly interested in research that advances the understanding and application of bioelectronic medicine in health sciences and towards the treatment of human disease.
Please Note: Abstracts primarily intended to promote a specific commercial product without introducing novel scientific or engineering findings, or those appearing to serve marketing rather than scientific purposes, will not be considered.
Submitting Your Abstract
All abstracts must be submitted electronically through our dedicated online portal:
Why Submit Your Abstract?
- Showcase Your Work: Present your research to a diverse international audience of experts in bioelectronic medicine.
- Networking Opportunities: Connect with peers, potential collaborators, and leaders in the field.
- Awards & Recognition: Top-ranked abstracts will be awarded and selected for oral presentations during the BEM Summit. All accepted abstracts will be considered for poster presentations.
Relevant Topics (including, but not limited to):
We encourage submissions covering the broad spectrum of bioelectronic medicine, including:
- Nerve Pathways & Tools: Exploration and functional mapping of specific nerve pathways and development of tools for modulation in various organs, systems, and airways (e.g., vagus nerve, splanchnic nerve, spinal cord). These include both central and peripheral nerve pathways and functions.
- CNS Bioelectronics: Central Nervous System (CNS) neuromodulation, including deep brain stimulation, transcranial approaches, spinal cord stimulation, and advanced imaging techniques like CNS ultrasound.
- New Technology Development: Innovations in bioelectronic devices, materials, circuits, sensing, stimulation paradigms, and manufacturing.
- Neuroimmune Modulation & Translation: Research on the interaction between the nervous and immune systems, and its translation to therapeutic applications.
- Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI): Advancements in BCIs for communication, motor restoration, sensory augmentation, and cognitive enhancement to improve patient health.
- Organ-Specific Bioelectronics: Targeting specific organs (e.g., heart, gut, kidney, bladder, pancreas) for disease management.
- Computational Approaches: Modeling, AI, machine learning, and data analytics in bioelectronic medicine.
- Biomarkers & Diagnostics: Development of novel biomarkers and diagnostic tools relevant to bioelectronic therapies.
Important Dates
- Abstract Submission Deadline: April 15, 2026, 11:59 PM ET
- Review Process: Abstracts will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Authors will be notified of acceptance decisions as they are made.
- Final Acceptance Notification: All acceptance notifications will be sent by May 22, 2026.
Submission Guidelines & Requirements
Your submission must include the following components:
- Title: A concise and informative title (max 20 words) that accurately reflects your work.
- Authors & Affiliations: A complete list of all authors, including their full names, primary affiliations, and email addresses. Please designate one corresponding author.
- Abstract Body:
- Format: The abstract body should be structured to include a brief overview of the Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
- Length: Limited to 350 words.
- Content: Must be text-only, without equations, figures, tables, or images.
- Functionality: This abstract should function as a stand-alone overview of your work and may be published in the official conference materials and on the Summit website following acceptance.
- Keywords (Optional but Recommended): 3-5 keywords that describe the main themes of your abstract.
Publication Policy
By submitting an abstract, all authors agree that, upon acceptance, the abstract content (including title, authors, affiliations, and abstract body) may be published in any official Summit proceedings, digital publications, or printed materials. Please ensure all authors agree to this policy before submission.
Submitting Your Abstract
All abstracts must be submitted electronically through our dedicated online portal:
Presenter Responsibilities & Commitments
Submission of an abstract constitutes a commitment by the author(s) to present their work at the 7th Bioelectronic Medicine Summit, if accepted.
- Conference Registration: The presenting author of each accepted abstract must register for and attend the 7th Bioelectronic Medicine Summit. Submission of an abstract does not automatically register you for the conference.
- Expenses: Expenses associated with the preparation and presentation of an abstract (e.g., travel, accommodation, poster printing) are the sole responsibility of the presenter.
